Most of our applications include confidential documents that require extra quality control procedures. The Statement Company uses state-of-the-art equipment to guarantee quality in each step of the process, from the moment we receive your file until the statements are dropped at the Post Office.
We use the following quality control
measures as your file is processed and
printed:
•Input is compared and analyzed
against output. A report is
produced showing total pages,
total statements and the detail of
single, multiple and bad addresses.
Bad address statements are returned
to the customer or auditor if an audit
exists.
• A micro font number will be printed in the address block of each statement.
• OMR marks are printed on each page in a 1 through 7 wrap around sequence, which ensures that the inserting equipment doesn’t miss any pages.
• Dates, messages, and transactions are checked before the printing begins to assure integrity of data.
• A production packet will also accompany every statement job. This packet contains the following:
– Instructions
– Sample pre-print
– Sample envelope
– Sample inserts
– Live output samples
The following quality control measures are in place as the statements are inserted and taken to the Post Office:
• Materials are matched against all other pieces involved to complete the package.
• Statements that require folding are done according to customer specifications. Special attention is given to ensure correct placement of the address into a window envelope. A machine count is recorded and matched against the work order to assure correct counts.
• Inserting begins once all material is accounted for and verified. A sample of the mail piece is used to set up the insertion order and then is checked for approval by a supervisor. Machine counts and meter recordings are kept on every job to ensure that all pieces are accounted for. Address and postage inspections are done on a continuous basis throughout the process.
•The sequence number printed in the address block is verified by a sequence verification camera on the inserter, which ensures that all pieces were inserted correctly. The sequence number is the most important step in the whole process and assures no double stuffed or incorrectly stuffed envelopes get in the mail. The OMR marks ensure each set is complete and all pages are accounted for.
• Even with the remarkable technologies we offer, your statements will ultimately be in the hands of our data processors, printers, and inserting operators. Our employees are experts at handling First Class mail and maintaining unmatched quality control. They are conscientious of the needs of every individual mailing and they value our customers
